Karrah Parke

British Columbia, CAN

Karrah was born and raised in British Columbia, Canada. Her great-grandmother was Icelandic, settling in Brandon, Manitoba for many years before moving out west in the 1960s. Karrah became interested in her heritage as a teenager and participated in the Snorri Program in 2022 to get in touch with her roots. Through that experience, she came to learn about Icelandic Roots, a supporter of the Snorri Program.

Upon returning from Iceland, Karrah wanted to get involved with Icelandic Roots. Drawing on her accounting background, Karrah has filled a gap in the organization by acting as a liaison between the finance and membership teams to ensure efficiency and synergy of operations.
