Kent Lárus Björnsson

Born and raised in Gimli, Manitoba, Kent Lárus Björnsson now resides in Reykjavík, where he works in IT at a local school. Kent studied Political Science at the University of Manitoba and later studied Tourism in Iceland. As owner and operator of a licensed private tour guide company, Kent is happy to provide personalized guiding services for individuals as well as groups of all sizes. Having lived in Iceland for over 15 years, he is particularly well equipped to help Western Icelanders who want to visit their ancestral homeland.

With education in both Icelandic and English, Kent is an invaluable member of our translation team. He also works in promotions for Icelandic Roots.
