Njal's Saga Tapestry Embroidery Kits

Updated: Jan 10

Editor's Note: In our 13 October edition of Roots News, Jason Doctor wrote the article Bringing the Saga Era to the Modern Era: Understanding the Njál Saga Tapestry. (Click on the title to access it.) We invite you to revisit that article where he introduces the many that contributed to the making of the tapestry as well as the saga that inspired it.

Do you appreciate Icelandic culture, handwork, and ingenuity?  Do you love to embroider or would like to learn? Or, do you know someone who loves this craft? Are you looking for a unique gift for the holidays? The tapestry kits are now available!

Own a piece of Icelandic Saga history. We can work together to help build a museum to house the world-class treasure in southern Iceland!
