The Icelandic Root’s Book Club begins this week!




We are excited to launch our book club with a webinar by the First Lady of Iceland, Eliza Reid, talking about her new book, Secrets of the Sprakkar: Iceland’s Extraordinary Women and How They are Changing the World.

The webinar is Wednesday, June 8th at 3 pm Iceland time, 10 am Central time. The book club will meet on the 9th of June at 7 pm Central time, where we will discuss the book and talk about the book club.


In July, we will be reading Be Still the Water, by Karen Emilson, which was listed in the Icelandic Roots 2021 Book Flood. Mark your calendar for this event on Thursday, July 7 at 7 pm Central time.


This is an Icelandic Roots members-only book club. Webinar links for our book club will be sent out the day before to all Icelandic Roots members.
